The stated values are based on laboratory conditions using a Quickluber filled with MultiMemo 2
grease, with no counterpressure. In real-world applications, especially at low temperatures,
dispensing performance may vary depending on the type of grease used.
Quicklubers must be replaced once the preset dispensing period has elapsed,
regardless of whether the unit is fully emptied.
Several factors can affect the amount of grease dispensed per day, including:
counterpressure or resistance in the lubrication lines,
ambient temperature, grease viscosity.
Start-up time
Quickluber requires a brief start-up period before it begins dispensing lubricant. The duration of this start-up time depends on factors such as the selected dispensing period, cartridge size, and ambient temperature.
At an ambient temperature of 20 °C and a 12-month dispensing setting, initial lubricant discharge typically begins within one week. In colder environments (e.g., –20 °C) or when using smaller cartridges (30 ml), the start-up time may be approximately twice as long.
To accelerate the start-up process under such conditions, you can temporarily set Quickluber to a 1-month dispensing interval for one to two days before switching to your preferred dispensing duration.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
-
1
Open the lubricator outlet by removing plug.
-
2
To start your Quickluber, set the gas generator to the required dispensing time (stepless in months, 1–12) using a screwdriver or a coin.
-
3
Note the starting date on the label using a waterproof pen.
-
4
Clear grease lines and fill them with the appropriate grease. Screw your Quickluber onto the greasing point.
RECYCLING GUIDELINES
-
1
Unscrew gas generator and dispose of complete unit for battery recycling. Note: Do not detach lubricator near an open flame.
-
2
Dispose of empty housing for plastic recycling. If the lubricator still contains lubricant after use, please dispose of it in accordance with local regulations.
ASSEMBLY GUIDELINES
-
1
Push piston all the way forward by blowing gently with compressed air or with the aid of a rod (ø 7mm), towards the bottom or opening.
-
2
To start your Quickluber, set the gas generator to the required dispensing time (stepless in months, 1–12) using a screwdriver or a coin.
-
3
Pump grease into the reservoir. Avoid air bubbles when filling the unit. Continue the filling process until the piston has been pushed all the way back. Do not overfill!
-
4
Use closing nipple if the dispenser is to be stored.
-
5
Position the gas generator (make sure the O-ring is positioned correctly) and attach firmly with a 1.5–2.0 Nm torque key.
-
6
Note grease type and filling date on the label.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Why does the lubricant output rate change with ambient temperature?
Lubricant output varies with temperature because both the gas generation rate and the consistency of the lubricant are temperature-dependent. These changes can affect the amount of lubricant dispensed.
-
How long does it take for the Quickluber to build full pressure?
Quickluber is designed to automatically adjust its pressure based on the application’s needs, up to a maximum of 5 bar. Under normal conditions, it will not reach full pressure unless necessary for lubricant delivery.
-
What types of grease can be used in the Quickluber?
Not all greases are suitable for use in the Quickluber, primarily due to variations in grease bleeding. For inquiries about specific greases, contact your local distributor for guidance.
-
Can I install the Quickluber away from the lubrication point?
For optimal performance, we recommend installing your Quickluber directly at the lubrication point. Remote installations are possible but depend on factors such as lubricant type, ambient temperature, and the internal diameter of the tubing. Please refer to your local representative for more information.
-
How can I tell if my Quickluber is injecting grease into my bearing?
Your Quickluber is equipped with a volume indicator label, allowing you to visually monitor the amount of lubricant being dispensed.
-
When should I replace my Quickluber?
Replace the Quickluber when the piston reaches the bottom of the volume indicator label (0%). This indicates that the lubricant reservoir has been fully depleted.
